A Layered Ecosystem of Grief Support

The Daniel Calazans Legacy is developing evidence-informed grief support across individual, community, embodied, and digital formats.
Grief is not one-dimensional.  Support should not be either.

Why Structured Programs Matter

Grief affects identity, physiology, and social systems.

01

Approximately 9 close family members are directly impacted by each death.

02

Around 1 in 10 bereaved adults are at risk for prolonged grief patterns.

03

Early bereavement is associated with increased short-term cardiovascular risk.

04

Contemporary grief research shows adaptation is oscillatory — not linear.

Support must be layered, ethical, and scalable.

1:1 Education Sessions

Personalized, Structured Support

Online Yoga Sessions

Embodied Regulation & Nervous System Support

Status: Program Development

Grief lives in the body.

Online yoga sessions are being developed to support:

Gentle nervous system regulation

Breathwork and grounding practices

Safe reconnection with the body

Structured pacing of emotional intensity

These sessions are not trauma therapy or medical treatment.  They are supportive, guided regulation practices accessible from home.

Ethical, Human-Guided Digital Support

Daniel AI

Status: Research & Development

Daniel AI is being developed as a structured grief support companion — not a therapist, not a diagnostic system, and not a simulation of the deceased.

Built with:

Clear ethical boundaries

Human oversight

Transparent limitations

Responsible data governance

Its purpose is to:

Provide guided reflective prompts

Support grief literacy

Encourage healthy pacing

Extend continuity between human touchpoints

Projected pilot phase: 2027.

Purpose-Built Digital Tools

Unique Grief Applications

Status: Concept & Design Phase

In addition to Daniel AI, we are designing focused digital applications that may include:

Guided grief journaling tools

Continuing bonds reflection spaces

Nervous system tracking prompts

Structured milestone remembrance tools

These tools aim to provide accessible, non-clinical support while maintaining ethical and psychological safeguards.

Integrated Architecture

Our programs are intentionally tiered:

01

Individual Depth — 1:1 Education

02

Community Integration — Retreats

03

Embodied Regulation — Online Yoga

04

Scalable Continuity — Daniel AI

05

Focused Tools — Grief Applications

Each reinforces the others.
All operate within defined ethical boundaries.
