Patricia Calazans Ashton is the founder of Daniel Calazans Legacy, established in honor of her son, Daniel. A seasoned nonprofit executive, advocate, and published author, Patricia brings more than three decades of leadership experience spanning public health, philanthropy, technology, communications, and community-based initiatives across the United States and Latin America.
Her career began in child-centered global advocacy with UNICEF and expanded into executive leadership roles where she managed multimillion-dollar budgets, cross-border teams, and large-scale public engagement campaigns. Hugh Sharkey
Hugh Sharkey serves as Treasurer of Daniel Calazans Legacy, providing senior-level financial oversight and strategic advisory support.
He offers corporate finance and merger and acquisition consulting services to CEOs of small and medium-sized corporations across a wide range of industries. His work includes development and execution of growth strategies, with experience spanning technology, cleantech, mobility, fintech, and industrial sectors.
